Khar-Yi is the god of things that shine (or glitter, or gleam, or glimmer, or glow), serving as [[Eminence]] of the [[Committee of the Glimmer and Gleam]] in the [[Bureau of Nature]]’s [[Hierarchy of Function]].

In appearance, Khar-Yi resembles a [[Dragon King]], body made of [[Gemstone]]s and polished metal, his eyes glowing coals. [[Glowstone]]s encrust the mirrored walls of his palace; lightning dances along slim copper spires; dragonflies sparkle above his garden's [[Moon Pond]]s.

He is less adamant in his opposition to the spread of civilization than many of his fellows in the Bureau of Nature, having forged alliances with certain gods of mining and crafting, for he loves to see his gems and metals shine their brightest.
