 The [[Garden of Clockwork]] is the [[Satrapal Garden]] of [[Varang]]. Located at the foot of the [[Memorial of Triumph]], opposite the [[Garden of Bowing Horns]] across the path linking the [[Lake of Auspicious Carp]] and the [[Gate of Rehearsing Rites]]. This garden is home to a number of plants and shrubberies drawn from the Southern floodplains, woven together in a simple maze. The cleverness of the Garden's design, however, is revealed only when one reaches one of the several crossroads amongst the paths and waits. Every hour, upon the hour, the whole garden is filled with whirring and clicking, as these connections begin to rotate... where a path once led to exit, now it might lead to dead end, or a hedge with no passage at all. Though some find the noise off-putting when trying to enjoy a contemplative stroll, this Garden is a perennial favourite of the Palace's noble children.
