The Hypogeum of the Steady Stone is an Immaculate temple and monastery dedicated primarily to the Immaculate of Earth Pasiap, located on the plateau which hosts the capital settlement of the Comté of [[Pezdeblon]], southwest of the [[Varang]] city-states.

It is located underground, within a large symmetrical dolmen mound. Five stone doorways lead into the dolmen, corridors converging in a large, deep central chamber containing a dias with statues of the Immaculate Dragons and a lector’s pulpit, as well as circling stone benches for a congregation. Hidden from sight, though with little other effort to conceal it, a spiral staircase leads down from the center of the pulpit to the levels below, which contain the cells, chambers, and storage needed to host the monks residing in the Hypogeum. While these are predominantly mortals, serving the local population or as itinerants in the Southern deserts, the post of nestor is traditionally granted to a senior Exalted monk who is seeking to leave the politics and administration of more central temples so they might concentrate on personal Enlightenment. The current nestor is the monk '''Shattering Expulsion'''.

The Hypogeum contains far more chambers than are used by its monks, and is considered a supply and resting point for forces of the [[Wyld Hunt]] operating in the region.

Unbeknownst to the residents of [[Pezdeblon]], the monks of the Hypogeum pursue another duty besides Immaculate enlightenment: beneath the dolmen, deep within the plateau, is located the tomb of a Solar Exalt slain during the Usurpation. The Hypogeum’s monks stand watch over the entrance to the tomb, carefully hidden amongst the deepest underground levels of their monastery, ready to strike down anything that grows unsatisfied with the grave treasures within… or, more likely in this current tumultuous Age, anyone seeking to claim the tomb’s contents for themselves.
