It is named for its steep slopes, to which plant life such as moss and [[Cypress]] have somehow managed to cling. Amongst these can be found Blue [[Sandalwood]] and [[Woad]], though their inaccessibility and the scarce population of the surroundings mean there has been little attempt at commercial exploitation.
