Fallaha Calin was a hero of the [[Shogunate Era]], though details of life and accomplishments have become lost over the centuries. It is known that [[Gens Fallaha]] was a potent family in the region of the [[River Province]] and the [[Shogunate]] Court during the early Shogunate, surviving in a lessened form with a final branch fading away after being forced to flee [[Lookshy]] following a failed political maneuver. Calin is widely credited with being the hero who felled the [[Steel Colossus of Calin]], and it is for this deed that his name has been passed on to that Colossus and the city of [[Port Calin]] (from where it was granted to the [[Calin]] Shogunate itself).

According to Immaculate histories, widely promulgated in the Realm, Calin was said to have accompanied the [[Immaculate Dragon]] [[Pasiap]] in the war against the [[Anathema]]. Calin was said to have been the first of Pasiap’s students to master the lesson of [[Jade Steel]], in forging of the grand goremaul [[Crushing Weight of Insight]].
