The Eyrie of Ten Thousand Eagles is a massive fortress-manse located in an area of jagged cliffs on the shores of [[Eagle Prefecture]], some distance north of [[Eagle’s Launch]]. It is the ancestral home of the Kajak branch of House Sesus, and was primary residence of prince Sesus himself during his final years.

The Eyrie is a well defended fortification. From the seaward side, approach is impossible, waves crashing hard against sharp rocks that would tear wooden ships asunder. From the landward side, a single narrow path climbs up the rocks to the manse, anyone making the journey exposed to fire from the manse's firing slits and its inbuilt essence weaponry. The path widens at the base of the cliffs and heads east to link up with the '''Great Coast Road'''.

Those who dare the climb off the path, up the cliffs from land or sea, encounter the eagle's nests which give the place its name... if disturbed, the birds take to the air with harsh shrieks, exposing the location of the interloper.

At present the Eyrie is home to many Dynasts of the Kajak branch, as well as serving as headquarters for the 26th Imperial Legion sponsored by House Sesus.
