The East 9th Ward is one of the many ward districts of the Imperial City. It is a roughly square section of the city, walled and connected to surrounding wards by gates which can be sealed in the event of unrest so collective punishment can be meted out to the community which birthed such shameful rebellion. The East 9th is known primarily for its woodcarvers.
