The Commentary on the [[Will of Hesiesh]] was an [[:Category:Immaculate Commentaries|Immaculate Commentary]] written by a monk of the [[[Temple of Cinnabar Smoke]] during the early [[Shogunate Era]]. It is in part a secondary commentary, speaking not just of the [[Immaculate Texts]] but of several other sources, including the commentaries of [[Ausang Torokanu]], whose interpretations gained traction with numerous temples during that era, its popularity was on the decline by the time of the [[Great Contagion]]. At the [[COUNCIL OF NOTCEA]], the [[Will of Hesiesh]] and the commentaries relating to it were rejected from the Immaculate canon, and all copies were purged. It remains banned in the Realm, though occasional copies can be found in Shogunate ruins or the most distant Temples, and for the rare sages daring pursuit of the history of Immaculate doctrine such copies are sought to provide insight into Torokanu’s now-defunct sect of the Faith.
