The exclusive [[Academy for Cultivation of Youthful Talents]] in the [[Imperial City]] ends its tradition of accepting only students from families within the [[Scarlet Prefecture]], a decision protested by many alumni and parents with students in attendance. Outsiders so accepted are [[Ledaal Shinjo]]. [[Ragara Thannak-Tyros]], [[Sesus Septimus]], [[Tepet Sorae]], & [[V'neef Cejanis]]. Other students accepted are [[Mnemon Palima]], [[Sesus Bulgo]], [[Tepet Tepetus]], & [[V'neef Juyi]]. The death of headmaster [[Telogo Dandanum]] midway through the year sees the appointment of [[Mnemon Dnares]] to the role, and acceptance of outsider attendance is immediately rescinded, though no students are expelled. [[Ledaal Taledii]] and his ally [[Mnemon Savar]] dominate student politics at the school.
