Bauble Artifacts are those works of artifice which are so minor they do not fit even into the [[:Category:1-dot Artifacts|lowest level]] of the 5-dot scale. And yet, they are still complex works of craft and magic, and still evoke wonder in a mortal peasant who beholds them.

Normally Characters wishing to possess bauble artifacts ought work out their number and nature with the Storyteller to determine what is appropriate, with one Background dot of Artifact suitable to provide an assortment of Baubles, but they are limited enough in scope to appear in other ways as well: for example, Characters with very high Resources backgrounds may also find a bauble amongst the luxuries their wealth provides, and a character without Artifact dots might merit a single beloved bauble amongst their possessions.
