Camayasha the Prince of Bats is god of [[Bat]]s in the [[Celestial Bureaucracy]]’s [[Bureau of Nature]], serving in many committees including the [[Committee of Mammals]] and the [[Committee of Night and Shadow]].

Camayasha owns many dwellings throughout the Celestial City, and more in Creation besides. A darkness clings to all of them, their upper floors open for his creatures to return to roost, their lower reeking with accumulated guano.

Camayasha is known in Yu Shan as an information broker, aware of all manner of things. Camayasha’s [[Godblooded]] children wander Creation amongst clouds of bats, gathering knowledge for their father. They are sometimes seen in [[Yu Shan]] as well, and there are even rumours that Camayasha’s ears extend even into the [[Underworld|lands of the dead]].

Those who seek information from the Prince of Bats tend to be those who need information for personal schemes, and thus must work outside the official channels of their Bureau intelligence organs, and who do not wish to barter with [[Nara-O]] or his functionaries. Camayasha’s extensive properties, far above those due his station, show just how many gods find a need for his services.
